The FL ASIO driver allows for system sounds etc. so I could have low latency music production but I'd get no system sounds and I couldn't alt tab to watch YT tutorials or anything like that on my other screen without completely disabling my DAW's audio capibilities first (and switching that off/on was slow and cumbersome).

There's tutorials online for setting up ASIO4all if you want to give that a go, too.ĭon't feel like you're alone. You can delete the DAW after that if you don't want it. You don't need to own FL studio if you want that one, you just download and install the demo version and it will install thier ASIO driver. Some folks love ASIO4all, but I personally had better luck with the FLstudio ASIO driver. I will provide screenshots below to show my settings if that helps. In the 'Audio' tab in Komplete Kontrol's preferences section, I have the Driver set to WASAPI (Shared Mode) and the device as my HD Audio Device. The only two inputs that are selectable are the Microsoft Wavetable Synth and the Komplete Kontrol A DAW.
